Perinatal Program - Mental Health Practitioner

In this role, you will
collaborate with a team of psychiatric professionals to provide compassionate
care and support to birth parents. You will engage with families in this
specialty program to help trat pos-partum depression and other illnesses while
addressing the needs of this underserved population.

Schedule: Monday -
Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

Hourly Salary Range:
$29.41 - $38.82 ((Union represented, step based salary depending on years of
experience)

Bargaining
Unit: EX - AFSCME

Qualifications

  • BA in Psychology or Related
    Field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • At least two years experience
    in mental health setting, preferably psychiatric hospital settings
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A working knowledge of group
    dynamics, psychological functioning, therapeutic communication
