RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinic Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a Clinic Assistant (CNA), you will maintain the flow of a patient office visit by performing delegated medical functions in accordance with practice guidelines. This is a fulltime position traveling to our Twin Cities Pain Care centers working between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm (8 hour shifts) Monday-Friday, no weekends.

Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

The responsibilities listed below are representative of the primary essential functions required; additional duties may be assigned.

• Greet and room patients.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and measure their vital signs for the office visit.
• Stock and clean exam room per Clinic and Infection Control Policy.
• Instruct patients on care plan and discharge instructions per provider's orders.
• Instruct patients on proper collection of urine specimens.
• Process and maintain integrity of all specimens according to established protocol.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• Document in patient chart or electronic medical record according to established protocol.
• Obtain additional medical records for patient's appointment as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One or more years direct care experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) or diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant (CMA) program.
• CPR certification is required.
