About the Job:

The Customer Service Supervisor will have the primary responsibility for overseeing the customer service team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and managing the inventory to meet the needs of our clients. This role also includes managing shipping and receiving activities to ensure that products are delivered and received on time, accurately, and in good condition.

In This Role, You Will:


  • Team Supervisor and Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and support in their development.
    • Assign workloads, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
    • Develop and implement training programs for customer service staff.
    • Develop and implement customer service policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the customer experience.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans for team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.


  • Customer Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
    • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer issues.


  • Shipping & Receiving:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time.
    • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule and track shipments, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
    • Inspect and verify the quantity and quality of incoming shipments, ensuring they match purchase orders and meet company standards.
    • Manage the storage and organization of inventory, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy access to items.
    • Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
    • Operate shipping software to generate labels, packing slips, and shipping documents.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during shipping and receiving activities.


  • Inventory Management:

    • Oversee the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
    • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and optimize storage space.


  • Operational Coordination:

    • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Monitor flow of communication between the customer service department and other departments.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor product flow in collaboration with Warehouse Supervisor.


  • Maintain all data in Abecas, SAP, Google Docs, and other customers systems.


  • All other job duties and projects as assigned.

Preferred:


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, is required, preferably within the warehouse or logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in warehouse software, such as SAP, Abecas and bar coding is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is required.
  • Encouraged to learn Spanish to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking customers and team members.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
