Application Window Open date: October 31, 2024 Next review date: Saturday, Nov 30, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Oct 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Electrophysiology Specialist (Junior or Assistant, depending on experience) will independently design and execute a variety of electrophysiology experiments, including local field potential recordings, voltage-sensitive dye imaging, laser scanning photostimulation (optogenetics), and whole-cell patch-clamp techniques (voltage clamp, current clamp, inhibitory and excitatory post-synaptic currents, etc.). The specialist is expected to read and critically analyze scholarly articles to stay current with advancements in the field.
