Wage: Based on Experience

Shift: 2nd or 3rd

Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:00am

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

- Interpret the demand of production and implement / manage daily execution of the production schedule through delegation and time management

- Accountable for the full and accurate completion and reporting of inventory monthly

- Perform inventory control using FIFO "first in first out" rotation

- Implement proper storage practices and maintain adequate levels of inventory for production requirements

- Work directly with the baking department supervisors guiding their production to fulfill department requirements

- Complete various reports and verify production numbers

- Manage team to include hiring, training and development, performance management, setting weekly schedules, managing timecards and planning team workload

- Ensure team members are trained and practicing GMPs as well as SQF and HACCP compliant

- Develop a sound understanding of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA

- Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all processes / equipment, ensuring compliance

- Provide seasonal support and guidance to retail and production teams for preparation, baking, decoration, and packaging of seasonal items and products

- Evaluate and encourage employee development through continuous on the job training, annual performance reviews and corrective action as needed. Work with employees to identify opportunities for continual growth in skill and abilities

- Maintain employee safety and morale by creating safe working and efficient working environment

Qualifications for Production Supervisor:

- Associate's degree or equivalent work-related experience

- At least two years of related experience in a food production leadership role

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

- SQF and HACCP Experience preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Advanced critical thinking skills

- Exceptional organizational Skills

- Excellent leadership and staff management skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Enjoy working part of a team

- Comfortable sitting, standing, lifting, twisting and bending throughout regular workday

- Able to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
