Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Director of Product Support to run our Florida locations. The Director of Product Support will oversee all aspects of the parts and service departments. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee all aspects Parts and Service business practices and financial profitability
  • Ensure all Products Support Departments adhere to written procedures
  • Drive business to meet forecasted goals while adding growth
  • Perform regular branch visits and inspections pertaining to the Parts and Services departments - set up a weekly cadence to visit all branches
  • Ensure all Service departments are staffed and trained properly
  • Drive Safety for both Parts and Service Personnel
  • Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
  • Maintain high employee morale and excellent customer relations
  • Meet OSHA and EPA compliance
  • Work with Human Resources to keep all direct reports in compliance with Local, State, and Federal Requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



  • 10 plus years of Parts and Service Management Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years as a heavy technician
  • Minimum of 3 years of Service Operations Experience
  • Education minimum of 2-year College or Vocational Education
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Pivot Tables
  • Order processing and data entry skills
  • Heavy Equipment industry experience as Technician, Engineer, or Manager
  • Familiar with Heavy Equipment Powertrain, hydraulics, maintenance and electrical
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • An adaptive and problem-solving attitude
